1. Acceptance of Terms

By using BudgetBits, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

BudgetBits is a personal finance tool that provides customizable envelope budget templates, multi-currency support, crypto tracking, and CSV / PDF export. Your account data is stored securely in our EU-region database (Supabase, Frankfurt) with row-level access controls. 3. Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

BudgetBits offers a Free Plan and three paid plans. All paid plans are processed by Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.

Free Plan

Includes a curated subset of templates from our library, plus cloud sync, multi-currency support, crypto tracking, and CSV import/export. No payment required.

Pro Monthly

$9.99 USD per month. Includes the full template library and all paid features. Billed monthly via Stripe. Renews automatically until cancelled.

Pro Yearly

$89 USD per year. Same features as Pro Monthly at a lower effective monthly rate. Billed annually via Stripe. Renews automatically until cancelled.

Founding Member

$69 USD per year, limited to the first 100 customers. Once 100 active Founding Member subscriptions exist, the tier is closed and no further enrollment is possible. Founding Member customers retain their original $69/year price for the lifetime of their continuous subscription. Cancelling the subscription forfeits the price lock; resubscribing later means paying the then-current available price. Includes the full template library, a Founding Member badge, direct founder access via private Discord, and early access to new templates.

Cancellation

You may cancel any paid subscription at any time from the Settings page, which links to the Stripe Customer Portal. After cancellation, you retain access to paid features through the end of your current billing period. Refund terms are described in our Refund Policy.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of information you enter. BudgetBits is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

5. Intellectual Property

All templates, design, code, and branding (including the emerald theme) are owned by BudgetBits. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell any part of the app or templates except for your personal use.

6. Limitation of Liability

BudgetBits is not financial, tax, or legal advice. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make using the app. In no event shall BudgetBits be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to paid features if these Terms are violated.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Portuguese Republic, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of BudgetBits shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
