Encrypted at rest
Your data is encrypted on disk using AES-256 via our database provider (Supabase).
TLS in transit
All connections to budgetbits.io use HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher. Your data is never in cleartext on the wire.
EU data residency
All user data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany), under GDPR jurisdiction.
Row-level access control
Database policies enforce that only you can read or modify your own data, every request, every row.
Delete your data
Self-serve from Settings → Danger Zone. Type DELETE to wipe every transaction, budget, envelope, and holding in seconds. For full account removal (auth record included), email support@budgetbits.io and I'll remove it within 30 days.
Export your data
Self-serve from Settings → Open Exports. Hit "Download everything as JSON" for one complete file, or grab individual CSVs for transactions, budgets, categories, envelopes, and crypto. PDF dashboard reports included.
